Digital payments app Google Pay has been briefly taken down from App Store recently. We can find nothing search with the key words “Google Pay” on App Store. Google said that the app had been temporarily taken down due to a problem to be fixed and users will soon be able to download and updated Google Pay as usual.
In August, Google Pay went off the Google Play briefly due to a technical error, which was reportedly fixed by Google within few hours.
A Google spokesperson said that the Google Pay will be unavailable briefly on the App Store to fix some technical issues, while this does not affect Android users at all. “The Google Pay iOS version will be briefly unavailable on the App Store; users will be able to see the new app update reappear shortly,” the Google spokesperson said.
The company also said that some iOS users might be experiencing payment failures when using Google Pay and can reach out for help in the help section in the app. “A small part of iOS users might experience continuous payment failures on payment, but our team will fix it as soon as possible,” the spokesperson said.
The Google Pay is no longer available on App Store-cellphone version or App Store-web version. The App is still in users’ download list, but when we click the button to download, an error message will show up “Unable to Connect to App Store”.
