What are the tests for angina?
By Jason 05 Mar,2024
I've been experiencing occasional discomfort in my chest, as well as muscle soreness in my back and limbs for about six months now. It feels like there's pressure on my chest and sometimes it even hurts.
Problem Analysis: You must undergo several tests to rule out the possibility of angina or determine the severity of coronary artery disease.
These tests include resting electrocardiography (ECG), stress testing, coronary angiography, etc.
The electrocardiogram (ECG) records the electrical impulses of the heart, which may indicate localized ischemia, meaning that the myocardium is not receiving an adequate amount of oxygen.
